This weekend, step back in time at Edzell Castle and Garden with Soldiers and Gardens, a Year of Homecoming Scotland 2014 event. On 24 and 25 May, you can see weaponry displays and enjoy guided tours around the grounds, as you learn more about the Royalist Marquis of Montrose's 1640s campaign. Tickets are available from Historic Scotland.
Experiencing one of Dundee & Angus’s renowned arts and culture events is a must. At Dundee Jazz Festival you can hear fantastic music across the city by some of the UK’s top jazz musicians. In the run up to Christimas you can take part in Dundee's Christmas Light Night, when the city centre becomes an event arena with performances by local groups and seasonal activities including a torchlight procession, nativity and light switch on.
