Activities in November

Join in the celebrations on November 30th, St Andrew's Day, You may well find a local ceilidh (Scottish party with traditional music and dance) - the perfect chance to meet the locals and get some insider travel tips!

Scotland also boasts an impressive number of quality museums, galleries and other indoors attractions: for great value many of these are totally free of charge! Edinburgh's National Museum of Scotland  or Glasgow's Riverside Museum are just a starting point, but even smaller towns and villages often have craft events, smaller art galleries. Why not visit Kirkcudbright in Dumfries & Galloway, known as 'the artists' town', or drop in to an exhibition at An Lanntair, the Islands Arts Centre in Stornoway.
