From the fresh seafood caught off the Firth of Forth and succulent beef and lamb sourced from the fertile Lothian farmland, to mouth-watering dairy produce and seasonal fruit and vegetables, there’s lots of choice.

Discover great producers across the region at grocery shops and local delis including Ian Mellis, whose mouth-watering cheeses can be found in stores throughout the city of Edinburgh. There are also plenty artisan bakeries as well as butchers who specialise in traditional Scottish fare including black pudding and haggis.

Edinburgh also enjoys many international influences which offer a true feast of the senses, such as the popular Valvona & Crolla which specialises in Italian produce.

Along the coast in East Lothian, you can pick up a range of delicious smoked goods from the Belhaven Smokehouse in Dunbar including smoked cheese, salmon and trout. While you're in Dunbar, make the most of the fresh seasonal berries by picking your own fruit at Belhaven Fruit Farm.

Wherever you are in Edinburgh & The Lothians you’re never far from inspirational local producers selling a range of mouth-watering produce from across Scotland and beyond.
