St Andrews Castle is the ruins of the castle of the Archbishops of St Andrews, dating in part from the 13th century.
Ravenscraig Castle is one of the earliest artillery forts in Scotland and has two round towers linked by a cross range.
Built by the Douglas family, the 13th century fortified residence of Aberdour Castle was extended in the 15th, 16th and 17th centuries.
Kellie Castle dates back to the 14th century and is surrounded by a stunning late Victorian garden. It was restored by the famous Lorimer family.
