Blackfield B&B

Blackfield Holding, Upper Warse,, Canisbay, by John O Groats, Caithness, KW1 4YD

A warm welcome awaits you at Blackfield, it's a cosy guesthouse with lovely sea views of Orkney and the islands. We will make your stay as memorable as possible when you visit us at Caithness.

Feedback given by our previous guests 'this is like a 5* Hotel' 'We are being spoilt' etc"..."We slept like a baby, its so quiet here!' Scenery, weather, accommodation, breakfast was excellent!" Rob is a dab hand with his culinary skills!
We are near the Late Queen Mother's residence of the Castle of Mey, many of our visitors visit there and take the Pentalina across to Orkney for the day as we are near the jetty. We do an early breakfast from 6am for ferry catchers. We are approx two miles from the famous John O' Groats harbour and a Hotel where one can dine and unwind with a glass of wine. We have a pedigree herd of Simmental cattle and a friendly dog called Emma. My husband is local to Caithness and has extensive knowledge of the area and its history. I am a native of the Isle of Skye and am a fluent Gealic speaker.
