The independent, family run Glenbank House Hotel in Jedburgh offers a warm welcome and an enjoyable stay whether you are travelling for business or relaxation.
The main part of the Glenbank House Hotel is an early 19th century cream sandstone villa with Georgian style architecture. The hotel retains some charming period features, including plaster cornicing, feature fireplaces and an attractive stained glass window.
Our guest bedrooms all offer modern en-suite bathrooms, some with baths and many have super king sized beds for your comfort. We appreciate the importance of a good night's sleep whether you are travelling for pleasure or business. On-site amenities include our restaurant, lounge bar and beer garden. Ample parking is available on site in our private car park, set back from the main thoroughfare.
Positioned to enjoy the best of town and country, the hotel is situated towards the top of the Castlegate in Jedburgh, just before Jedburgh Castle Jail and only minutes from the majestic Jedburgh Abbey. Set back off the road in its own private grounds, the hotel enjoys peaceful surroundings despite being very centrally located within Jedburgh.
For those who enjoy walking, the hotel is very convenient for the popular St Cuthbert's Way and the Borders Abbeys Way as well as many other local walks. Jedburgh's 18 hole golf course is on our doorstep, and is one of many in the region which participate in the Freedom of the Fairways golf passports.
With our private, off-street parking, the hotel is popular for those making a road trip on four or two wheels, since Jedburgh offers the perfect location whether you are travelling north to Edinburgh and the highlands of Scotland, or South to Northumberland and beyond.
