    Quiet Country Cottage Location just East of Lanton Village by Jedburgh. The single suite is recently constructed on the ground floor and is adapted for disabled access. 2mls from St. Cuthbert's way at Harestanes Woodland Centre

    Lantonhall is a secluded Country Cottage in the heart of the Beautiful Borders.  The West Wing is a private flat for 2 with ramp and hand rails for the disabled.  The twin bedroom with ensuite bathroom + shower.   The Sitting room with wood-burning stove and kitchen with dining table, clothes washer etc.  Continental breakfast provided -  glorious views from all rooms. Radio, TV & central heating.

    We welcome dogs and children (a roll-away bed can be put in the sitting room)  There are many foot paths from the cottage and through the Lothian Estate woods. Badgers, foxes and deer can be seen in the evenings. Some excellent restaurants are only 10 minutes away. Peniel Heugh Monument can be seen from the cottage near to the Harestanes Woodland Centre.

    Road Directions

    Take the A68 North from JEDBURGH  to the junction with A698 Denholm Road. ! ml on Lanton is signed on the Left. Just up this road at the first corner the sign to Lantonhall lane is on the Left.
    From A7 HAWICK  follow A698 for 7mls towards Jedburgh, through Denholm look for Lanton sign on Right. Lantonhall lane is on the first corner before the village.

    Public Transport Directions

    From the nearest information centre:- The simplest way to reach Lantonhall is to drive North on the A68, 3 miles to the junction with A698 Denholm road. 1 mile take the 1st Left road signed Lanton, at 1st corner Left signed Lantonhall.

    However the shortest route is to take the minor Lanton road at the crossroad in the middle of Jedburgh. This twists North over Lanton Hill down to the village. Follow the road Right, just leaving the village, on a sharp corner, the lane is signed to Lantonhall.

    Getting there by railway:- Berwick upon Tweed is over an hour away.
    Carlisle is nearly 2 hrs drive South on A7.

    Getting there by aeroplane:- Airports - Edinburgh north and Newcastle south are both 1.15hr drive on A68.
