Welcome to Owlswood Lodge.
This newly built house was completed late August 2007. It has been built to provide a desirable holiday home with great attention paid to all the details which will make your holiday perfect.
Quiet secluded modernised one roomed traditional stone cottage with woodburning stove and built in box bed. 5 metres from the sea looking south over Scapa Flow with stunning views and the Hoy hills in the distance.
We have named our self-catering unit Laingbrae Cottage, as it is a conversion of the original outhouses, forming part of Laingbrae, which dates from 1862. However, the accommodation resembles a cottage in name only.
Bordering on the Bay of Firth, Finstown (midway between Kirkwall and Stromness), the Lodges are an ideal base for exploring Mainland Orkney and all the Orkney Islands. The lodges can be booked for short or longer stays, starting any day of the week.
Experience a 17th Century hotel where superb local cuisine meets traditional Orcadian hospitality in the heart of the ancient burgh of Kirkwall, near the St. Magnus Cathedral. Phone us for weekend break offers.
