Traditional croft cottage, renovated and extended to a high standard, situated 200 yards from the shore with views across neighbouring islands.

Sties is a two bedroom cottage in a secluded location close to the sea at the end of its own private road on Eday, one of Orkney's North Isles, with panoramic views across neighbouring islands. The original house, built of traditional red sandstone, has been extended to preserve its character and has recently been upgraded, while fully modernising the facilities on offer.

Directions

Getting there by ferry:- From Eday ferry terminal turn left follow road for 0.25 miles and turn left at first T junction. Follow road which eventually turns into a farm track, turn left onto another farm track, 100 yds after the end of the public road, Sties is at the end of the track.

Getting there by plane:- From Eday airfield turn right and follow road south for over 3 miles. Follow road sharp left at south end of island, after another mile carry straight on at next junction, eventually this road turns into a farm track. After 100 yds turn left into another farm track, Sties is at the end of this track.
