The Lock Keeper's Cottage comprises two self-catering apartments, the upper and lower deck. Each has one double bedroom, the lower deck has a Jacobean style four poster bed and a whirlpool bath with power shower over.

These two delightful and very luxurious self contained upper and lower floor cottage apartments are situated in a unique and peaceful location on the banks of the Caledonian Canal at Banavie Bridge on the outskirts of Fort William. The cottage has magnificent views to the front over the Canal, Neptune’s Staircase and the steam railway used in the Harry Potter films. To the rear there are stunning views of Ben Nevis and the surrounding mountains. The property has been renovated to a very high standard and each apartment has one double bedroom. The lower deck apartment has a grand Jacobean style four poster bed and a whirlpool bath. As well as central heating each apartment has an open fire in the lounge along with TV, a DVD player and a good selection of films, books and local information guides.

Bed linen, towels, electricity and heating are included in price.

The cottage has well maintained garden areas on both sides with stunning views over the Ben Nevis mountain range and the Caledonian canal. The Jacobite "Harry Potter" steam train can be seen on its majestic journey (May to October only) to Mallaig and the Isle of Skye ferry. With Neptune's Staircase, a series of eight working Victorian lock gates also in view the cottage is in a unique and impressive location.

The cottage has ample private off road parking.
