Cut the Mustard Gallery

54 - 56 High Street, Langholm, Dumfriesshire, DG13 0JH

Cut the Mustard Gallery is a light, bright, welcoming space on Langholm's High Street. Owned and run by jeweller Lisa and her husband, photographer, Barry, you can be assured of a warm welcome.

We show the work of over 50 artists and makers alongside a further 25 jewellery designer makers. Glass, ceramics, wood, paintings, printmaking, illustration, sculpture, textiles, jewellery and photography can all be found in the gallery.  We have work from both established and emerging artists and makers, across a broad range of styles.

Browsers are very welcome, as are well behaved dogs. Jeweller, Lisa, ( will often be busy designing and making in her studio at the rear of the gallery.

We are the perfect place to shop for that special gift, we stock a range of unusual cards and have smaller gifts, all hand made, starting from just a few pounds.  Gift vouchers are also available and the cost of larger purchases can be spread with interest free monthly payments.

Within the gallery is a small, self service cafe, selling artisan tea, coffee and cakes.

A variety of art and craft workshops, including jewellery making and "make your own wedding rings" workshops are scheduled throughout the year, more information can be found on our website. or by calling us on 013873 81180.  Our studios (2 mins walk away) are home to gallery partner Barry Young's photography studio ( and resident artist Ann Smith (
