    Don Coyte Outdoor Centre is an activity centre near the Scottish Borders village of Lamancha and offers clay pigeon shooting and air rifle target shooting.

    The family-run outdoor centre, which was established in 2010, is less than 30 minutes drive from Edinburgh and only 20 minutes from Peebles.

    Facilities include a reception with pool table and wood burning stove, changing rooms with lockers, toilets and parking.

    Clay pigeon shooting is available is for shooters of all abilities and includes gun hire, supply of cartridges and clays, safety equipment and guidance from a qualified instructor.

    Target shooting is great fun, test yourself or challenge your friends, various different targets to shoot while you are here!

    The centre caters for a range of groups included family and friends, work days out and stag and hen parties. Gift vouchers are also available.

    Road Directions

    On A701 South of Edinburgh, through Penicuik heading towards Peebles. At Leadburn junction take A701 South towards Moffat. Continue for 4 miles and turn left into Lamancha Village at the sign for 'Lamancha Hub' and then left up the tree lined farm track signposted for Don Coyote Outdoor Centre, continue up track and over the hill for half a mile. Then head for the first building you arrive at - the big green shed.
