Well known as the first and last village in Scotland off the A1, Burnmouth is just south of Eyemouth and has an operational harbour.
Burnmouth is a small fishing village with a harbour on the Berwickshire coast, north-west of Berwick-upon-Tweed.
Burnmouth lies south east of Eyemouth and is well known for being the first and last village in Scotland, when travelling on the A1. The village is split over two levels, with homes and holiday cottages both atop the sea cliffs and beneath them. The harbour at Burnmouth is operational and is the only landing for boats between Eyemouth and Berwick.
Burnmouth harbour forms part of the Berwickshire Coastal Path which runs from Cocksburnpath to Berwick and is one of Scotland’s Great Trails.
