If you fancy yourself as a bit of a David Coultard or want to get a flavour of the rugged Scottish countryside, why not take advantage of the range of brilliant driving experiences across Scotland? There are some great race courses with opportunities for you to get a feel for various types of motorsport and our heather-covered hillsides and sprawling forests are ideal for putting vehicles designed for off-road driving to the test.
An off-road driving experience with an activity provider or a landrover safari can take you to parts of our great outdoors which are usually inaccessible, such as steep descents or through rivers. You might want to ride quad bike over challenging terrains, or on designated tracks where you can experience faster speeds. If looking for something a bit more heavy-duty, why not ride in a tank and be put through your paces on a mission.
If you’re looking for thrills of G-force inducing speeds or are after a bit of friendly competition on the track, you’ll find there are great circuits such as premier motorsport centre Knockhill in Dumfermline in Fife as well as indoor and outdoor go-karting venues across the country.
