Welcome to Lauren House B&B. We are a family run Bed & Breakfast, 10 minutes walk from town centre and restaurants. Free off-street parking and wifi.

We are a family run bed & breakfast and will endeavor to make your stay a comfortable and memorable experience. Children are very welcome, we have a selection of cots, highchairs & games to make your little ones’ stay enjoyable and entertaining. During your stay, you can take advantage of free ‘off street parking’ and if required the provision of secure internal storage for bikes, golf clubs, walking boots, fishing equipment etc.

Lauren House is a beautiful traditional sandstone house built in 1900 and is located in the historic Maxwelltown area of Dumfries, home to the impressive Benedictine Convent. We are only a short walk away from Dumfries town centre, where you will find a good selection of shops and restaurants. Nearby are paths that will take you on a scenic walk along the banks of the River Nith. From the river paths, you can watch the local’s fishing for salmon or you might just get lucky and catch a glimpse of the elusive otter.

Lauren House is the ideal location for exploring beautiful countryside and coastal walks that will take your breath away. Sorry no pets.
