Stranraer lies on Loch Ryan in the west of Galloway. The ferry port is close to the town centre.

Getting there and away:

By rail
Trains arrive and depart from Stranraer station, which is right beside the Stena Line foot passenger terminal. 

By coach
Bus and coach services operate from Stranraer to Ayr, Glasgow, Edinburgh and destinations in England. Services connect with the arrival of certain Stena HSS sailings.

By car
There is a small short stay car park and drop-off point opposite the main terminal. There is also a larger short and long stay car park 200 yards from the main terminal. Parking is free.
