Scotland has lots of islands, and lots of small airports to help you get to them.
Scotland has numerous minor airports, from Campbeltown on the Kintyre peninsula in the south-west, to Sumburgh on the Shetland mainland. Many of them on the islands, some of which are little more than gravel airstrips while one - on the island of Barra - is famously on a beach!
