Glasgow Central
Glasgow Central, on Argyll Street, is one of Glasgow's two main train stations, along with nearby Queen Street. Central serves suburban Glasgow to the south of the River Clyde, into Lanarkshire, Ayrshire including Prestwick airport, Dumfries & Galloway for ferry services to Northern Ireland, and south to England.
Glasgow Queen Street
On a corner of George Square, Queen Street is one of Glasgow's two main train stations, along with nearby Glasgow Central. Like Central, it has both a mainline and a low-level station. Trains head into the north-east suburbs of the city, the East and West Ends, and the north-west coast up to Oban.
