10 And 12 Clay Loan

Overview

This stone-built terrace of 3 houses with it's crow-stepped gables, thick stone walls and Caithness slate roofs date back to the late 1700's. Fortunately the interiors are fully modernised now!

No 10 and No 12 share a secluded paved courtyard at the back of the property where you can sit and enjoy a 'sheltered' meal or refreshment. It also provides a safe play area for children. There is also a garden with drying green, swings and a slide.

At the front there is off-street parking directly across from the house.

No 10 offers accommodation for 6 people. The ground floor has a large airy kitchen with substantial dining table which easily seats 8 people. It is fully fitted with washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, freezer, fridge and microwave, electric oven & hob and a CD player with a selection of local CD's. The living rooms has 2 comfy leather sofas where you can relax after a hard day's sight-seeing, watch some TV or a video, listen to more local music or plan your next day using the many local guides, books or brochures. The bathroom is on the ground floor and has an electric shower over the bath. There is 1 twin bedroom downstairs and upstairs a double room and a twin room.

No 12 offers accommodation for 5 folk. The kitchen on the ground floor is fully equipped as No 10 above. There is one en suite single room on the ground floor (with large single bed) and upstairs there is a double room and another bedroom with adult sized bunk beds.
