The cottage is cozy all year round and benefits from a pretty, furnished decked terrace designed to take in the glorious views and perfect for al fresco dining. Just a short stroll leads to Jedburgh, a charming market town set on the Jed Water, with a wide range of traditional shops and numerous pubs, cafes and restaurants. Historically there is plenty to see, including the ancient medieval Abbey, outdoor pursuits include cycling, golf, fishing, archery and walking, there's also plenty to keep the kids amused. Places to visit locally include Jedforest Deer Farm Park, Monteviot House Gardens, Harestanes Countryside Centre, Keilder Water and Forest Park, Jedburgh is also a great location for exploring both Newcastle and Edinburgh.
