Traditional old croft cottage near the spectacular beach at Oldshoremore mentioned in The Times as one of the top 10 beaches in the world.

The cottage was built in the early part of the last century. It is one of a decreasing number of crofter's cottages in the area that have remained largely unchanged and we have intentionally retained the original features. Comfort has not been sacrificed, however, and the cottage has all the necessary facilities for easy housekeeping. The whole cottage has been re-roofed and regularly redecorated. It should be noted that the bedrooms have steeply coombing ceilings and restricted headroom which can be a problem for taller guests.
The accommodation comprises
•2 bedrooms sleeping 4 ( 1 double, 1 twin). Plus an extra single bed on the croft landing.
•Sitting room with traditional solid fuel stove, T.V., video/DVD, books and sofa-bed
•Dining/family room.
•Bathroom with shower over the bath.
•Kitchen, fully equipped with fan-oven, hob, washer/dryer, microwave oven, dishwasher, fridge and chest freezer.
•Garden with sea views and parking for 2 cars.
•Wi-fi and broadband internet access
•We do accept well behaved pets but there is a one off £10 surcharge for extra cleaning.
Visitors should be aware that this is a traditional cottage with traditional croft bedrooms which are quite small. If you want a modern house with built in everything and flat walls then this may not be the place for you! If, however, you want an authentic North Highland experience (with modern conveniences) then you should not be disappointed.
