The one-bedroomed, ground floor apartment offers a spacious lounge (with bed-settee), good-sized double-bedroom with excellent wardrobe space, a dining-kitchen and bathroom. Situated just off the main road through the village, the apartment offers quiet and peaceful surroundings with easy access to road, rail and pedestrian networks.

The secluded courtyard area to the rear of the house provides a peaceful area for sitting and relaxing after a hard days activity (foldaway chairs are provided).

The apartment is just minutes from the main A9 Edinburgh to Inverness road, a short walk from the railway station (well-served from Glasgow and Edinburgh to Inverness) and with a nearby bus link to Perth, Edinburgh and beyond.

Road Directions

From South (Edinburgh/Glasgow)
Head for Perth then A9 to Inverness/Crianlarich.
After 11 miles exit for Birnam/Dunkeld (right turn). Enter village, pass Garage (right) and play park (left) before reaching an unmade road on the left - before the Church and Post Office (right). Go to (2)

From the North (A9):
Take first exit for Birnam/Dunkeld (left) and almost immediately turn right towards Birnam.
(1) Proceed through Birnam, passing the Birnam House Hotel (left) and the Birnam Institute (right), just after the Church and Post Office (left) there is an unmade road on right.
(2) Turn into unmade road, turn left in front of terraced houses (Gladstone Terrace). No. 4 is the last house in that row.

Public Transport Directions

From the nearest information centre:- The TIC in Dunkeld is less than 1 mile from the accommodation. From the TIC (near the Cathedral) rejoin the main road (turn right), cross the Dunkeld Bridge and then turn left into Birnam (Perth Road). Then proceed as per 'By Car- from North' (1).

Getting there by railway:- Services run from Inverness, Edinburgh, Glasgow and London calling at Dunkeld and Birnam Station. From the station cross (on foot) under the A9 via the underpass and turn right (immediately after the underpass) into Station Road, then turn right into Birnam Terrace (after the Merryburn Hotel), Gladstone Terrace is the continuation of Birnam Terrace.

Getting there by aeroplane:- Airports at Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Dundee, then proceed by rail, bus or car.
