5 Laigh Isle

This is a modern detached holiday bungalow, which is situated in the picturesque fishing village of Isle of Whithorn.

Set amongst open countryside in a tranquil, almost traffic-free area, this self-catering bungalow offers a peaceful base for exploring the treasures Dumfries & Galloway has to offer. Perfect for families or groups of friends, the accommodation includes a large family room with bunk beds which children will love, and a contemporary double room. The comfortable living and dining area offers plenty of space to unwind, while a fully equipped kitchen boasts an electric cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine and smaller electrical appliances. All cooking and dining equipment is provided while bed linen and towels are available on request.

Children can play safely on the bungalow's well-kept lawn and will love the numerous sandy beaches nearby. The village and harbour provide a peaceful setting, a shop for basic provisions and a couple of lovely pubs and hotels that offer great quality local produce. The area is steeped in history, evident in its Iron Age fort, standing stones and an 11th-century chapel. It's also within driving distance of the fantastic Galloway Forest with over 300 square miles of outstanding forest walks, two world-class 7stanes mountain biking centres and an abundance of wildlife including cute red squirrels.
