    The front windows overlook the vibrant Grassmarket and its infamous Gallows, long since removed but marked with a monument for all those that dropped through its door. The rear windows enjoy unique views to the most famous of all Fortresses; the unyielding Edinburgh Castle and the 350 million year old shoulder of volcanic rock it sits upon. The apartment is a well presented and spacious one bedroom accommodation set on and overlooking the famous & lively Grassmarket with unique views to Edinburgh Castle. It is within easy walking distance of all of Edinburgh's world famous City centre attractions including Edinburgh Castle, The Palace of holyroodhouse and Princes Street Gardens along with numerous other attractions. Art galleries and ghost tours are just a short stroll away. A day at the Zoo or Edinburgh's sandy Portobello beach can be easily reached by a short bus ride.

    The lounge offers a comfortable range of furniture that includes a double sofa bed with memory foam mattress for two additional guests and is open plan to the dining area and kitchen. The kitchen is modern and well stocked, for those amongst us who love to cook, with quality cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. For those of us that like to travel light, there is a washer drier along with a clothes airer and ironing facilities. The apartment has full gas central heating and for that extra cosy feeling during the winter season, double glazing throughout & a designer gas fire in the lounge. The bedroom boasts unique views to the castle and is at the rear of the building. It has a luxurious King size bed and a fine range of bedroom furniture. The modern bathroom is fully tiled and has a 3 piece suite including bath with over shower. It also has a heated towel rail & shaver socket.
    The telephone is a 'pay as you go' mobile (cell) phone that can be easily topped up at the shop next door to the apartment.
