Welcome to 'A abide an abode' Guest house in Edinburgh which we hope will be your home from home during your visit to our Historic City.



Our home is a family owned Victorian House which was built in 1890 and retains many of its original features yet is fully modernized.

We are located in central Edinburgh on the A70 1.5 miles south west of Edinburgh Castle in the Historic Old Town. The West End, The Grassmarket, Murryfield Rugby Stadium, The Edinburgh Corn Exchange, Fountain Park Haymarket and Waverley Train Stations St.Andrews Bus Station and Princes Street are all within easy reach. by foot or Lothian Bus No. 4, 34, 44, 35, Edinburgh Airport is approximately 5 miles away and cost about £15.00 by Taxi.

Walking tours of the City or further afield can be organized for you with our in-house guide, these must be arranged in advance.

Our home has a relaxed friendly atmosphere and we are committed to ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable and fondly memorable visit to Edinburgh.
