Overview
4 Hillside Street is a large, light spacious family double upper flat. We have converted the top floor (where I work as a writer) into one room living space with roof cupolas and views extending across the city to Calton Hill and the city centre one way, and the Firth of Forth the other. Ten minutes walk from Princes Street, we are a few hundred yards from the Playhouse Theatre, a Virgin Active gym with pool within the newly built Vue Cinema complex and dozens of restaurants and shops.
I offer the largest and lightest bedroom with private bath/shower room. (Click on "Images")
For a group of four people a second room is available in combination with the main room.
If the main room is taken the second room can be booked for an individual/couple who would share the family bathroom. (See images)
You have a mainly organic breakfast: porridge, eggs, cereals, my own homemade bread, marmalade, preserves, compote, fresh fruit and yogurt, as well as freshly made espresso or latte coffee. If you'd like some Loch Fyne kippers just let me know a few days in advance. There are a range of hot drinks that you can make in your room.
