Abbeyhill Apartments City Central

Overview

Adjacent to the new Scottish Parliament and at the foot of the Royal Mile, this lovely flat is just 5 minutes walk from Arthur's Seat and the surrounding Royal parkland, yet lies in the heart of the historic Old Town. Private parking, Sleeps 3. This beautifully presented self-catering apartment could not be sited in a more convenient and historic location. The Royal Mile stretches east from the Castle perched above the City and has borne witness to centuries of Scottish Triumph, Turmoil, Ceremony and Strife. The apartment lies opposite the Palace at the foot of this historic thoroughfare where you will also find the controversial new Scottish Parliament building and the entrance to the Queens Gallery, the Royal Park and Arthur's Seat (Edinburgh's in-house mountain).

Communications could not be easier. It is only minutes walk from Waverley Railway Station which also doubles as the terminus for the shuttle buses from the Airport. Walk anywhere in minutes or take one of the many Tour buses which pick up and drop off within yards of the apartment door. Despite the location, the apartment lies back from the roadway and suffers no external noise from traffic, vehicular or human.

Everything you will need to make your stay a comfortable and memorable one is provided in the apartment. There is easy private ground floor access from the street and the bonus of a private parking space, a rarity in a World Heritage Site!

The entrance hall gives access to a newly constructed, fully equipped, kitchen and breakfast area. There is a dishwasher, electric hob and oven, washing machine, microwave and fridge/freezer. Opposite, a bright, calm and relaxing bathroom comes complete with bath and an electric shower.

The bedroom is large and tastefully furnished in quality matching furniture with double bed, full length mirrored wardrobe and plenty of drawer-space. The decor exudes a peaceful ambience, and those little touches such as make-up mirror and hairdryer are not forgotten.

The living room is large enough to accommodate a dining table area, and comes with comfortable sofas and practical tasteful furnishings. A multi channel TV and DVD player is provided and an adjacent cabin/bunk room provides the third sleeping unit in privacy, without impinging on the living space.

Mobile Broadband can be provided if you bring a laptop with you, and a high chair and cot will be supplied for baby.

Throughout the apartment there is ample storage space and reliable gas central heating ensures you can always be one step ahead of the temperature outside.
