Our approach is simple. We source the best local, seasonal ingredients, and we prepare them in a delicious, authentic, wholesome, uncomplicated way all at a reasonable price.
Of course we cater for all special dietary needs.
We also understand how to satisfy younger palates, especially after a hard day's abseiling. For them the emphasis is on home cooked, nutritious and filling.
Unfortunately due to the change over in management, the hotels licence is for the moment unavailable. During this time we are operating a 'Bring Your Own' policy for residents and guests of the restaurant and cafe. Please don't hesitate to contact us for more information.

ACCOMMODATION:
Originally built in the 1870s as the Estate Manager's house, it passed through various owners before becoming a hotel in 1981.
All but two of the twelve comfortable en-suite bedrooms have spectacular views across the sound of Raasay to the Cuillin on Skye. The cafe and restaurant, lounge and garden are all open to non-residents and all offer dramatic sea views. We can welcome up to 24 guests in the hotel. For larger groups we can arrange extra accommodation elsewhere on the island.
And whether you're after an informal, relaxing base from which to explore Raasay or an exciting programme of activities, you'll still be able to enjoy the trademark service and hospitality that has always been such an important part of the Raasay experience
WILDLIFE:
Raasay is abundant with wildlife. From sea and golden eagles, herons and cormorants, minke whales, basking sharks, dolphins & porpoises, to deer, voles, otters and seals. Some are unique to Raasay, whilst some use Raasay as a stopover on their migration routes.
Our staff are able to point you to the best areas for wild life viewing, whether by sea or land!
