Lodges and view of Eigg and Rum from Ach na skia Croft

Self-catering cottage and Lodges on the West Highland coast at Arisaig with spectacular views across the sea to the islands of Rum, Eigg and Skye. Sauna, play park and games room, kayak and canoe hire and guiding, free Wi-Fi.

A cottage and 3 lodges with stunning views across the sea to the islands of Eigg, Rum and Skye Our cottages are situated a mile outside the small village of Arisaig on the Scottish West Highland coast and are comfortable, well equipped and cosy at any time of year. The Cottage is ideal for 2 couples or family of 4, with space for a cot and a large garden. Island View is good for a family with up to 3 younger children. Dogs are accepted in Island View, which has a fully fenced large garden. The Lodges are superior quality, superbly insulated and in an elevated position, perfect for watching the spectacular sunsets from the verandah or living room, and are suitable for up to 5 people, with space for a cot in the double bedroom. Small garden front and rear, fields around.
For exclusive use of guests we have a sauna, a games room with pool table and table tennis, volleyball net in the field and a play area with slide and swings for young children.
There are sandy beaches a short walk away, a 9-hole golf course 1½mls., fishing in the river, Loch Morar, hill lochs or the sea. There are great walks to suit all ambitions and the local Ranger leads guided walks from April to September, improving your knowledge about local history, flora and fauna whilst rambling. The sheltered waters and many small islands make this a perfect area for sea kayaking. Sea kayak and Canadian Canoe hire is available. Day trips to the Small Isles run from Arisaig and to Skye and Knoydart from the fishing village of Mallaig, 7mls. away.
It is an area of outstanding beauty, known for some of the most glorious sunsets on earth. A million miles from the pressures of urban living, you can reconnect with nature. Red deer, pine marten, otters, seals, minke whale, dolphin, the rare white-tailed sea eagle are just some of the species that can be seen here by the careful observer. Generation after generation return here, to one of the most widely known and best kept secrets in the U.K.
