For our Italian guests we have Italian speaking facilities during August & September.
A touch of history:
This property is perfectly located in the historic village of Scone where once all the Kings of Scotland were crowned at Scone Palace.
With various woodland walks on your doorstep as well as a good selection of local amenities & services, you'll be spoilt for choice. Perth Museum is but a short 10 minute drive away.
Things to do:
Scone has also a large play park with facilities for Tennis, Football as well as a large pond where you can sit, relax & watch the Ducks & sometimes Swans swim happily along or for the younger ones there are swings, monkey bars, a sand pit to name but a few.
Fishing, walking, cycling, cinema as well as a large indoor swimming pool can all be found here. Kinnoull Hill, now a long time extinct volcano, boasts some spectacular views across Perth & all the way up the River Tay with Perth harbour below. A climb well worth doing.
Places To See:
There are a host of places to see & visit from the famous Edradour whisky distillery located just outside Pitlochry, the smallest distillery in the UK to name but a few, to haunted castles, Lochs & Glens. Perth, otherwise known as "The Fair City", is located in the heart of Scotland which is ideally placed for travelling to either Glasgow & Edinburgh to the South or if you prefer, Inverness & Aberdeen to the north.
Drinking, Dining & Entertainment:
Perth is a mere 10 minute drive away & enjoys a number of Restaurants, cafes, pubs & clubs throughout the Town as well as Perth Theatre & the newly built concert hall which have hosted bands such as Alexander O Neil, Journey & the Eagles.
Transportation:
For those that prefer not to drive into Perth Town Centre, there is a Park & Ride service available located at the top end of Scone Village with frequent buses to & from Perth daily.
Booking Terms
A deposit of 25%, (unless a deposit is made through Visit Scotland) with the balance payable 4 weeks prior to arrival date. Please make cheques payable to "Steven Dalton".
Good Housekeeping
In order for us to maintain the high standards that you come to expect from a 4 Star Luxury Accommodation, we do ask that a "cash" deposit of £50 be made on your arrival which will be refunded back to you by post or by alternative arrangement within 7/10 working days provided all is found to be in order. We will advise you by email or telephone should there be any aspect of the property other than reasonable wear & tear that requires our attention. We understand accidents do and will happen, which will of course be taken into consideration upon our inspection. These guidelines are intended to safeguard and maintain the accommodation to a high level of standard which will allow full enjoyment to all our Guests.
