Overview
AIRD VIEW:
Aird View nestles in a quiet rural area of eastern Skye called the Braes. The comfortable modern bungalow is set back from a single track no through road, yet is only 7 miles south of Portree, the principal town on the island. There are beautiful, uninterrupted views over the sea to the Isle of Raasay whilst the nearest beach is only a few minutes walk from the front door!
The bungalow is very well equipped, and features UPVC double glazing, oil fired central heating and a modern kitchen and bathroom. There is one twin and two double bedrooms and a spacious, bright lounge/dining room with two large picture windows having panoramic views over the sea to Raasay and to the mainland mountains. The bathroom has an overbath electric shower. Fenced garden areas lie to both sides of the property and there is ample off-road parking.
Aird View is ideally placed for exploring all of Skye and visiting the Isle of Raasay. Magnificent scenery, museums and historical sites are all easily accessible. Portree, with its narrow streets, picturesque harbour, Aros Visitor Centre and excellent range of shops, pubs and restaurants is just a 15 minute drive.
