The Airlie is a traditional bed and breakfast offering comfortable, friendly accommodation at sensible prices with no hidden extras. Your hosts Peter and Fiona Flynn look forward to welcoming you into their home and helping to make your stay in Edinburgh an enjoyable and memorable experience.
Located on an excellent bus route we are only 1 mile from Princes Street. Our large private car park takes the worry out of where to park your car. We offer a free WiFi hotspot and free use of a computer with broadband Internet access. Our rates include a full cooked breakfast, a copy of our Breakfast Menu is on our web site.
Edinburgh is a large City full of interesting and exciting places to visit. The Airlie makes and ideal base being located on the South side of the City only 1 mile from Princes Street. Attractions located close to the Guest House include the Royal Commonwealth Pool and Leisure Centre, Holyrood Park and Arthurs’ Seat, Dynamic Earth, The Scottish Parliament, The Meadows Park, The Festival Theatre, the Queens Hall, The Royal College of Surgeons and the National Museum of Scotland.. There is also a great selection of eating and drinking establishments within a short walk of the Guest House.
With 12 bedrooms the Airlie can offer a good range of room types. Guest can choose from, large family, small family, twin or double rooms all with en-suite shower and toilet facilities. For those Guests on a budget we have standard double bedrooms. These room have a wash basin in the room but the shower and toilet facilities are outside the room in the hall and shared with one other room. No more than 2 rooms use the shared facilities. Finally we have 2 single rooms.
All of our rooms are equipped with remote controlled digital televisions and complimentary tea/coffee making facilities. Each room has a wash basin, central heating and secondary glazing. All bed linen and towels are supplied.
For our Guests additional enjoyment we have a small library of Scottish themed books providing lots of information and amusing anecdotes. If you are looking for accommodation for the next stop on your travels we keep copies of the Visit Scotland accommodation brochures for all areas of Scotland.
If you finish your novel while you are staying with us you’re welcome to make use of our fiction library. We have provided a good selections of books for both adults and children.
In addition to our cot and high chair we also have a box of toys and books for our very young guests.
