Ina & Sandy MacArthur welcome you to Alt na Craig House, a striking Victorian house with an impressive history, set in its own quiet wooded grounds with spectacular views over Oban Bay to the Isles of Kerrera, Lismore and Mull as well as the rugged hills of Morvern.
The house has been fully refurbished to offer luxury boutique style bed and breakfast whilst retaining the original features wherever possible.
All of the six spacious guest rooms have been given the designer makeover, each has its own special character and the luxury fabrics and furnishings have been chosen with these in mind. All rooms also have king or superkingsize beds, fluffy bathrobes and hospitality trays with quality teas, coffees and locally baked biscuits - not to mention the LCD TV's with Freeview and the iPod docking stations.
The bathrooms have not been missed in the renovations and all have been upgraded to include high-pressure showers,bath sheets,most have underfloor heating and luxury Arran Aromatics products to enjoy whilst here or to take away with you!
The bathroom in our luxury sea view also has a freestanding bath in which you can relax whilst still enjoying the view.
With friendly personal service and exceptional attention to detail Alt na Craig House is a peaceful and tranquil setting in which you can relax in style whilst exploring Oban and the surrounding area.
Whilst we enjoy the tranquillity of our rural setting we are only a short walk away from the centre of Oban and all it has to offer with its award winning restaurants, lively pubs offering great food and entertainment, distillery and access to the rail and ferry terminals.
