There are magnificient South facing sea views from the main rooms and terrace, with direct access to Fife Coastal path and Room Bay Beach. It’s only 5 min. walk to Crail’s famous harbour and the Crail Pottery, shops, pubs and cafes.
The accommodation is all on ground level and enjoys a private entrance, free parking, and overbath shower.
Children will love to explore the rock pools on the Beach and the sea side swing park, walkers will love to explore the East Neuk villages along the coastal path, Golfers can treat themselves to our local championship course at Crail Golfing Society as well as the nearby Kingbarns and St Andrews Old Course. There are lots of family attractions and a range of festivals, including the Crail Food Festival, The Crail Festival and the East Neuk Festival to name a few! Art lovers can enjoy local galleries, the well know Pittenweem Arts Festival, or try your hand in a painting course! Watersports are available all year in at Blown Away St Andrews or seasonally in the East Neuk. You can rent bikes in St Andrews and the Millenium cycles ways are a great way to explore the countryside, or try some forest riding in Tensmuir. The excellent Byre Theater in St Andrews is open all year. History buffs will enjoy our local museum, with a section on the Crail Air Field as well as the Crail Golfing Society, and the nearby National Trust property, the said to be haunted Kellie Castle, or the unique Secret Bunker, and of course you’ll have the 15th century dove cot on your doorstep, which is also worth a visit.
For most visitors coming for a week’s holiday, there is so much to explore nearby in the East Neuk and St Andrews that you’ll find you don’t need to venture far, but Edinburgh, Dundee, Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy and Glenrothes are all within 1 hours drive.
Crail is ideal for relaxing, getting away from it all, the sea and the fresh air and easy access to the outdoors will recharge your batteries. So pick one of our award wining books from the shelf, put your feet up on the window bench or in our stressless recliner, sit on the terrace with a glass of wine or snuggle into a sheltered spot on the beach and slow down to Crail time.
