     Set in 13,000 acres of stunning highland scenery Alvie Estate stretches from the River Spey, over the Monadhliath Mountains to the Dulnain river. Accommodation sleeping from 4 to 10 guests can be combined with a wide variety of sporting & other activities which include clay pigeon shooting, archery, quad bike treks, horse riding, stag feeding, loch & river fishing, hill walking, shooting, estate tours, zip wire, gorge walking & bush craft survival. Within easy reach are various water sports, mountain biking, activity parks, the Cairngorm Mountain ski area with its funicular railway, and for golfers, take your pick from a number of different styles of courses around the area. Located 4 miles south of Aviemore Alvie is the ideal holiday destination or the perfect place for a weekend away.  Online Booking -

    1 & 4 Wester Delfour are the end houses in a row of 4 semi detached farm cottages overlooking farm fields & woodland. They are both fully equipped cottages sleeps 4 combining charm & comfort with superlative views across the Spey Valley.

    Dating from Victorian times, Park Cottage is one of the most popular cottages on the Estate. The cottage sleeps 6 with a double room & 2 twin rooms, living room and dining room and fully equipped kitchen. It also has a secluded, sheltered garden surrounded by fields.

    North Wing is an attractively furnished two-storey wing of the main house, sleeping 8 in 2 twins, 1 double & 2 single rooms & 2 bathrooms & a separate WC on the first floor. On the ground floor is a large living room, dining room & kitchen with breakfast nook. The kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher. Laundry facilities are available in the basement of the House.

    With some of the best views on the Estate, and overlooking Loch Bourne, Top Flat sleeps 10 people comfortably in its 5 twin rooms. The Flat is tastefully decorated and comprises a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room and 2 bathrooms. Laundry facilities are available in the basement of the House.

    All properties have wifi with the exception of Top Flat, although it may be able to receive a signal from the router in Alvie House.

    Road Directions

    From South turn off A9 north of Kingussie, go north on B9152 for about 7 miles. After Kincraig you will see a sign on the right for Alvie & a yellow sign for Alvie Stables, go left here, through the tunnel onto the Estate. The holiday properties are signposted when you are on the Estate.

    From North turn off A9 south of Aviemore to Kincraig. Go south on B9152, pass Loch Alvie on the right, & Dalraddy Holiday Park on the left. Continue past Alvie Quarry (GF Job). You pass an orange mirror on a tree on the left and 'Gate Lodge' on your right. Continue for another 200m you will see a sign for Alvie & a yellow sign for Alvie Stables, go right, through the tunnel onto the Estate. The holiday properties are signposted when you are on the Estate.

    For SATNAV the post code is PH21 1NE; some systems suggest access from A9 which is not signposted. The best access is from B9152 via either Kingussie (from south) or Aviemore (from north).  Please note that the postcode covers a large area & will not direct you to a particular place on the Estate.

    Public Transport Directions

    Getting there by railway:- Nearest Railway Stations are Aviemore & Kingussie.

    Getting there by aeroplane:- From Inverness Airport go on A96 towards Inverness, then follow signs to Perth (south) on A9 trunk road at junction south of Aviemore signposted to Kincraig. Turn right onto the B9152 towards Kincraig. After 3.5 miles turn right onto the road signposted Alvie. This road takes you under the A9 trunk road, follow signs to cottages.
