built on the north end of the small island of Easdale An Rubha is a lovely cottage that offers unrestricted views of The Firth of lorn towards the isle of mull. This spacious cottage sleeps 5 to 6 people with its large double bedrooms and a slightly smaller one down stairs.
With having the two large double bed rooms up stairs it allows there to be a generous sized bathroom with free standing bath and heated slate flooring. The cottage also has everything you could need to make your stay more comfortable such as dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer, microwave,childerns high cot and high chair, ironing board and iron, juicer and the kitchen is well equipped with utensils for cooking. The living area has a digital television, DVD and CD players. there are some board games and books the cottage has full WiFi coverage.
The Island it's self is small with only 60 full time inhabitants with a welcoming pub thats open all year round and a tea room/ restaurant which is open in the summer (www.pufferbar.com) which sells locally caught seafood and beers to an award winning standard.
Easdale is a Car free island allowing you to take a step back in time into the fresh air allowing visitors to really enjoy the suroundings there are plenty of foothpaths that allow you to get right around the island or up to the top of the 125ft hill that gives you spectacular views.
To gain access to the island you have to take the ferry from Ellenbeich on the isle of seil this gives you more fllexibility as there are two pubs and shops at nearby balvicar. Oban the areas local town is less than 30 minutes drive over the famous "bridge over the adlantic".
Seafari Adventures (http://www.seafari.co.uk) offer a number of high speed boat excursions departing from Ellenabeich on Seil, including trips to the world's second largest whirlpool and the chance to see a veriaty of scottish wild life like basking sharks, white tailed eagles and seals.
