An-Struan (Meaning Near the stream in Gaelic), is situated in the picturesque village of BENDERLOCH, 7 miles North of the Town of OBAN. Seafood capital of Scotland and Gateway to the Highlands & Islands.
We have Three en-suite Bedrooms, Two Double rooms & One Twin. The Two Double rooms , are facing the back of the house with a view of Ben Lora and the Twin is at the front of the house facing the garden.
There is a Guest Sitting Room with a lovely log fire for the cooler evenings. Lovely bright Dining Room, facing the front garden.
Breakfast Menu.
Chilled Fruit Juice, Fresh Grapefruit, Fresh Fruit Salad,Traditional Porridge, Choice of Cereals,Yogurts.
Traditional Scottish Breakfast.....Bacon, Sausages, tom, mushrooms, Eggs of your choice, pot scone, black pudding/haggis.
Smoked Haddock and scrambled eggs or paoched eggs.
Tradional pan fried Kipper, with lovely home made bread.
Scrambled eggs, Bacon, toms, mushrooms.
Poached eggs on toast with toms, mushrooms, bacon.
Eggs Benedict....Poached eggs, on top of a muffin, topped with Hollandaise sauce .
Boiled eggs with soldiers.
As, we have our own chickens (7) the eggs are lovely & fresh. Home made bread.
We can help you plan your holiday, as we are local to the area, and can book trips and Ferries in advance for you. Free wi-fi access.
Lovely village with Restaurant, cafe and Fish & Chip Shop. There is also a farmers market every two weeks at Kintaline Mill Farm.
