Close (3miles) to the busy AngusTown of Brechin with its many amenities . We can offer both selfcatering and catered accommodation . Close to the Nature Reserves of St Cyrus and Montrose, the beach of Lunan bay.
As well as being in the heart of Carnoustie golf country and the River South esk just 2 miles. The Eastern Cairngorm National Park with its Munro's and Lochs we provide the perfect base for the outdoor enthusiast.

Angler's Bothy built in 2009 architecturaly designed to maximise a truly stunning location and to ensure light spacious imaginative accommodation with a contemporary twist. Equipped to an exceptional standard, with ease comfort and relaxation in mind creating a unique rural experience.
Accommodation provided over two levels.
Upstairs double bedroom windows facing South and East over garden an ensuite shower room with walkin Matki shower.
Single bedroom provides alternative sleeping.
Openplan upstairs livingroom with floor to ceiling picture windows facing South and West provide uninterrupted views over open countryside; an ever changing landscape and the promise of spectacular sunsets and often clear night skies perfect for star gazing . With its modern Joutl woodburner simply relax with a book from our extensive selection or indulge in a sundowner with friends.
Downstairs accommodation
Double bedroom with ensuite bathroom. A bright room with windows facing South onto garden and East to catch the morning sunrise.
Downstairs open plan kitchen dinner with its handcrafted walnut kitchen with 5 burner gas hob and integrated modern appliances and island unit. French doors onto the secluded terrace offers the oprortunity for alfresco dinning. While cooking look out onto the wildflower garden and bubbling stream with our nesting boxes and birdfeeders you are certain to view our resident woodpeckers as well as many other interesting bird species. Often Roe deer can be seen grazing in the fields.
Fully equipped utility room with washing machine tumble drier and Belfast sink perfect for returning from a day on the hills or out fishing. Entrance Vestibule provides plenty of storage for boots and coats as well as separate WC.
Parking private for three cars.
The Town of Brechin 3 miles away has a fine selection of reasturants pubs a quality butcher and gourmet grocer supermarkets and shops.
We can provide alternative catered accommodation perfect for fishing parties bed and breakfast by arrangement and evening meals. Also food hampers from our local quality grocer filled with localy sourced produce. Thus something for everyone.
We are a family run business and either myself or Lorenz will be on site to ensure your stay is as comfortable and informative as possible so you can make the most of our beautiful County.
