Ard-na-Coille is set in 3 acres of beautiful, private, elevated and unspoilt countryside in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park with stunning views. Ideally located in the geographical centre of the Highlands for skiing, sight-seeing, walking, cycling or simply for a romantic break. We are sure you will find us to be one of the best luxury bed and breakfast establishments in the Highlands of Scotland. Ard-na-Coille is formally an old hunting lodge dating back to the 1920's and has been featured in the popular BBC television programme "Monarch Of The Glen" series as the "Glenbogle Golf Club". Indeed many famous guests have stayed at the house, amongst them Richard Briers and Susan Hampshire. The hotel has also been featured in the Sunday Times. All our bedrooms are large and sumptuous with bath en-suite either with a king size four poster bed, Super King size bed or twin. Ard-na-Coille has a large lounge with comfortable armchairs, television and full size snooker table.

The large dining room is exquisite and all breakfasts are cooked fresh and use organic food wherever possible.

Our gardens and woodland are a haven for wildlife and birds. You will regularly see rabbits, red squirrels, blue tits, great tits, siskins, chaffinches to name but a few.

Jacquie and Mike have tastefully decorated and restored this lovely old house and would love you to share our beautiful surroundings.
