Ardechive Cottage & House - Loch Arkaig

Overview

Both properties are located on the banks of Loch Arkaig and allow visitors to enjoy dramatic lochside views and access to the whole range of country sports and leisure activities. If you are looking for a luxury break and the peace and tranquillity of a captivating Highland location, then look no further. The cottage sleeps 6 and has been extensively upgraded to combine the appeal and traditional character of the original building with a high degree of comfort and contemporary stylish living. The original thick stone walls and wood panelling feature throughout and are gentle reminders of the heritage of this charming property.

Warm and well maintained, the house will sleep 8, is furnished to a very good standard and has three spacious bedrooms. The main sitting room benefits from an open log burning fire that adds warmth and great character to the house, cleverly positioned windows that allow natural light to flood in and French windows that open onto the patio. The kitchen has a striking high ceiling and an impressive array of modern amenities and there is ample storage space and a utility room to take care of the day to day necessities.

Local Activities

There is a magnificent sheltered glen, running along the North shore of Loch Arkaig, which is perfect for the outdoor enthusiast with many stunning walks and endless opportunities to see some of Scotland's special wildlife including Otters, Golden Eagles, Pine Marten, Osprey and divers. There are many local features nearby to be explored and enjoyed, such as:
