Overview

Situated in the very centre of Edinburgh at the foot of the historic New Town the Ardenlee is an ideal location for you to explore the City. We are only 1/2 mile from Princes Street and the Waverley train station and St Andrew's bus station. Most of the main attractions such as the Castle and the Royal Mile are within a 15 minute stroll. Regular buses (every 10 minutes) also run from the end of our road or alternatively a taxi will only cost you around £3.50 to the centre of the City. We are also around the corner from the Royal Botanic Gardens, Scotland's premiere garden set over 28 hectares including Britain's tallest palm house and the world's largest collection of vireya rhododendrons. Within a 5-10 minute radius are situated most of Edinburgh's acclaimed bars and restaurants.

The Ardenlee is a good quality 3 star accommodation arranged over 4 floors and has 9 bedrooms. All of our rooms have TV, tea/coffee facilities, central heating and hairdryers. 7 of our rooms are en-suite whilst the other 2 rooms share a large bathroom with a bath and shower. We can cater for a range of accommodation requests with 3 family, 3 double , 2 twin and 1 single room. Our rooms are spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated.
A full cooked breakfast is served in our dining room on the ground floor. Choose from sausage, bacon, scrambled, fried or poached egg, mushrooms, baked beans, tomato, fried bread, or have the vegetarian option. A range of cereals, fresh fruit and fruit juice is also available.


The Ardenlee is family run and you are assured of a warm welcome. Our style is friendly and informal and we endeavour to make your stay in Edinburgh as enjoyable as possible.
