Welcome to Artaquarius B&B, a 17C private home in the hamlet of Portencross a short stroll from Portencross Castle, the old harbour and pier. Of our four rooms, three have seaviews to Arran and beyond. The sunsets are spectacular.
With our cliff backed garden and seaviews, we love where we live and have shared it with many friends and guests over the years on our Art Weekends. This year we are introducing Castle Trail weekends too.

For The Commonwealth Games - leave your car with us and we will offer you a complimentary lift ot West Kilbride Station 2 miles away for the train to Glasgow Central. This train ride takes about 1hr and we can arrange to collect you from West Kilbride station on your return.
We are handy for ferries to Arran, Cumbrae and Bute. West Kilbride our nearest village is Scotland's Craft Town www.crafttownscotland.org with some specialist shops, The Barony Arts Centre with its coffee shop The Barony Bites and its brilliant cakes. Hunterston as a 5 star visitor attraction is nearby as is Kelburn Castle, Dalgarven Mill, Largs, and several really good dining out venues - Fins at Fencebay, Seamill Hydro, The Waterside, The Village Inn, Cecchini's, Scott's, Nardinis, The Green Shutter and for that special occasion - Braidwoods.
