Road Directions
From The South:
Take the A74/M74 to Gretna and then the A75 to Dumfries. From Dumfries take the A76 (Kilmarnock), travel through Thornhill and Sanquhar to New Cumnock. When you come to the second mini-roundabout past the bridge turn left onto the B741. Take first left onto Afton Road. Ashmark Farm is the third farm road on the right, approximately 1.5 miles from New Cumnock. There is a sign at the farm road end. Please stop at the second property on the farm road, this is where you collect the keys.
From The North:
Take the A76 south from Kilmarnock to New Cumnock, passing the sign for Cumnock. When you reach the first mini-roundabout in New Cumnock turn right onto the B741. Take the first left onto Afton Road. Ashmark Farm is the third farm road on the right, approximately 1.5 miles from New Cumnck. There is a sign at the farm road end. Please stop at the second property on the farm road, this is where you collect the keys.
Public Transport Directions
From the nearest information centre:- From Ayr Tourist Information Centre follow the A706 to Cumnock. A76 to New Cumnock, follow to mini roundabout, turn right, B741, take first road on left and Ashmark Farm is third road on the right hand side.Getting there by railway:- From New Cumnock Station turn right at the Main Road, at the mini roundabout turn right onto the B741, take the first left onto Afton Road. Ashmark Farm is the 3rd road on the right.
Getting there by aeroplane:- From Prestwick Airport:
Turn right and go straight through the first roundabout. At the next roundabout, take the third turn off following the signs for A77 to Ayr. Pass straight through the next two roundabouts. At the next roundabout, follow the signs for A70 to Cumnock. Passing the signs for Cumnock until you reach New Cumnock. When you reach the mini-roundabout in New Cumnock turn right onto the B741. Take first left onto Afton Road.
Ashmark Farm is the third farm road on the right, approximately 1.5 miles from New Cumnock.
There is a sign at the farm road end.
