Ashetree Cottage has been completely renovated to offer our guests the best in home comfort with a warm and welcoming environment what ever takes you to Macduff. Furnished to a high standard, each en-suite room combines contemporary furniture and the latest TV and hi-fi technologies. Accommodation at Ashtree Cottage has been tailored to offer our guests a quality stay in a relaxed and informal manner. Our aim is to exceed expectations of a lovely place to stay.
The house stands in its own detached garden - on the outside fringe of the town of Macduff. 5 minutes walk from both the countryside and seaside, various rural and coastal walks, view points and friendly establishments lay waiting to be explored. The area has some of the best unspoiled and scenic views whether in the heart of the countryside or on one of the shores many bays, coves and cliff sides.
The newly fitted and well-appointed en-suited rooms Rose, Heather and Thistle each sharing similar amenities comprise beautifully refurbished double bedrooms; shower room en-suited; with digital telly and radio are testimony of the owner's efforts and attention to assure our guests a comfortable stay. The conservatory leading off the master dining room is the perfect place to relax with the day's paper after a heart warming full Scottish breakfast. Whilst providing a quality stay and private place to stop over; the owners will gladly assist with any local pointers and or advice on what and where to go.
The area is home to a wealth of varied bird and wildlife not limited to but including red squirrel, roe deer, badger, hare and fox. At the right times of year the many varieties of sea birds, seal and famed porpoise dolphins, minky whale and basking shark provide a rich and abundant exposure to Scotland's best.
On the door step of 2 highly coveted golf courses and brand new golfing range with with pro tuition, a multimillion pound aquarium development in the last 10 years, harbour and marina the sea town and neighbouring town amenities provide a tranquil setting to relax with ample places to explore.
£35 to £75.00 for each room per night inclusive of a Full Scottish Breakfast daily; rates depend upon certain times of the year and for longer stays. Please do ask at time of booking.
