The Auld Reekie offers luxury bed and breakfast accommodation, with a real hearty Scottish breakfast to set you up for the day - perhaps to explore Edinburgh's famous historic landmarks, or maybe a sightseeing tour of the surrounding countryside. Auld Reekie now has Wireless Internet Connection facility.

The immediate neighbourhood is one of leafy avenues and stone built Victorian villas. There are numerous restaurants offering a wide range of cusine within easy walking distance of Auld Reekie, while Cameron Toll shopping center is only a couple of minutes away

All bedrooms are en suite with TV, hairdryer and hospitality tray. The upper floor rooms afford views of Blackford hill and the Royal Observatory and, in the other direction, of Arthurs Seat, Edinburghs ancient extinct volcano. We have 2 on-street private parking spaces allocated on a first come first served basis. There is additional unrestricted parking nearby. Vegetarian breakfast available. Non smoking.

YOUR TIME OF ARRIVAL MUST BE CONFIRMED WITH AULD REEKIE GUEST HOUSE

Late Arrivals: Rooms are held until 6pm weekdays, Friday Saturday Sunday  4pm Your room will be held later for you if you have prepaid by credit card or if you call us on the day of travel to advise us of your late arrival. Don't be disappointed, remember to call if you have a travel problem.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Guests are respectfully reminded that a confirmed reservation is a binding contract. If a reservation is cancelled within 10 days of arrival we reserve the right to charge for the first night stay. If the cancellation notice is 5 days or less then the full amount will become payable. If reservations for New Year, Rugby weekends, Bank Holidays or August are cancelled within 10 days or less, the full amount becomes payable.
