Close to Inverewe and Attadale Gardens, Lochcarron weavers, Carron Pottery, Eilean Donan Castle, Strome castle ruins. The Isle of Skye is not so far away with Tallisker whisky distillery. You can visit the ancient Brochs at Glen Elg, use the little ferry and still "go over the sea to Skye". A trip over the Bealach na Ba to explore Applecross? The Munro's of Beinn Eighe, Liathach and Alligin; Lochs Torridon and Maree are on the doorstep.
