The Averon guest House is located in Central Edinburgh and a ten minute walk to Princes Street and Edinburgh Castle and within easy walking distance to all the main tourist sights of the city. We have a large private car park suiable for cars , vans , camper vans and mini buses.
The Averon Guest House is situated on two levels with the dining room downstairs; we have ground floor bedroom accommodation available and our other bedrooms are to the rear of the building, offering a restful ambience. The house is a Georgian villa built in 1750 and is a historic listed building.
All bedrooms are en-suite with showers and WC. Each room is complete with a television and tea / coffee making facilities. Free WIFI Internet access is available throughout the house for guests use.
Situated in the hallway is an information point where guests are invited to help themselves to literature containing information on sights and attractions within our wonderful city.
Breakfast is a hearty, traditional full cooked Scottish fare. A variety of cereals, fruit and fresh fruit juice are offered, as are tea and coffee. We can cater for vegetarians and vegans on request.
You can find many restaurants and eateries within walking distance of The Averon Guest House. Whether you enjoy Italian, Indian, Chinese or Modern European you have a wide choice from many highly regarded establishments in Edinburgh.
We have a private car park behind the guest house which we lock at night for security. You are welcome to leave your car in the car park for the duration of your stay and also cars may be left in the car park until 8pm on your day of departure.
