    Avonlea is a comfortable and recently refurbished cottage, (sleeping four) in the heart of Crieff. Ideal for sightseeing, walking, cycling, golfing or just relaxing in front of the fire.

    You will be within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and amenities. Avonlea is a minutes walk from the centre of Crieff with its quaint shops and many places to eat. It provides the ideal location for a relaxing holiday exploring the local countryside, playing golf, cycling, walking or fishing.

    This 19th century cottage has a fully equipped kitchen including a microwave and dishwasher. The lounge is comfortably furnished and the dining area has seating for four people. DVD, games and books are provided for your use. Upstairs comprises two double bedrooms and a large shower room. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the other bedroom is a twin. A unique feature of this cottage is its walking drying room for storing bicycles, golf clubs, walk in boots, and drying off equipment etc.

    Road Directions

    From glasgow travel along the M8 onto M80 following the Stirling signs and the A80. continue on the A80 which becomes the M80 again. Following the perth/Stirling signs onto M9. From Dunblane Roundabout see below.

    From Edinburgh travel along the A90 continuing onto M90. Bear left onto Slip road (M90 J10).
    Continue onto M90. From Dunblane roundabout see below.

    At the Dunblane roundabout, take the second exit onto A9 for 6.7 miles. Continue onto A882 sign posted for Crieff. There is also a brown tourist sign saying scenic route to pitlochry. Once in Crieff follow the town centre sign and opposite St James square on your right turn left into Hill Street and Avonlea is number 17 on your right hand side.

    From the nearest information centre:- Walking distance from Crieff Tourist Information Centre (approximately 200 yards).

    Getting there by railway:- The nearest station is Gleneagles; from there you would need to take a taxi to Crieff (approximately 10 miles). Alternatively take a train to Perth and then catch the number 15 bus to Crieff get off at St James square and walk up hill street

    Getting there by aeroplane:- From Glasgow Airport take the bus to Buchannan Street bus station and the train from Queen street Station to either Perth or Gleneagles.

    From Edinburgh Airport take the bus into the city and the train from waverly Station to Perth or Gleneagles. See above for car and bus to Crieff

    Getting there by ferry:- From Rosyth ferry terminal follow M90 and the car directions from Edinburgh
