Excellent value, family run 3 star Bed & Breakfast accommodation located on Oban's seafront.
The Ayres Guest House is a Victorian terraced property situated on the Esplanade in Oban overlooking Oban Bay. There are 11 letting bedrooms : 3 single rooms, 3 twin bedded rooms , 4 double bedded rooms and a family room which accommodates four people. All our bedrooms are en-suite, with digital freeview tevelvisions and we provide free wi-f i access for our guests.
We have a lovely patio overlooking the bay and the island of Kerrera where guests may sit and enjoy the beautiful views.
The Ayres is a non smoking guesthouse but guests are welcome to smoke on the patio. We offer a generous full hot and cold buffet breakfast between 7:30 and 9:30 am and can offer continental breakfast from 7am.
Accommodation is also available on a room only basis for customers who need an early departure. Check -in is available between 2pm and 9:30pm. Regrettably, we cannot accept late arrivals.
Located a 10 minute walk from the bus, train and ferry stations and 5 minutes from centre of the town shops, bars and restuarants, the Ayres is an ideal base for your visit to Oban.
We do not have private parking however there are public car parks on either end of our terrace which charge between 9am and 6pm Monday to Saturday and 1pm to 6pm on Sundays. There is free on street parking on the Esplanade or a free long term car park 5 minutes walk from the Ayres. Motorcyclists can park on our private lane and we can provide a safe storage area for bicycles.
