Cheviots just south of Jedburgh with spectacular views of the open
countryside and surrounding farmland.
Matt runs the farm- you'll sometimes see him chasing sheep! Lucy tends to the cottages, with Matts help, bakes cakes and generally lots of other things too.
This rural location offers you the tranquility of the countryside yet is
only 3 miles from the Borders town of Jedburgh and only an hour's drive are
Edinburgh, Newcastle and Carlisle. Both Owl Cottage and Wild Rose are furnished comfortably and offer central heating and a woodburner or open fire.
About Owl Cottage (Sleeps 6)
Owl Cottage is a spacious terraced house, which has two double and one twin bedroom. The large utility/games room has tabletop football and snooker table and with it's tiled floor is well suited for those wet dog days! To the front is private parking for two cars. To the rear is an enclosed paved and
gravel garden.
About Wild Rose (Sleeps 5)
Wild Rose is a charming end terrace cottage ample private parking and side lawned garden with the field next door often having sheep or cows grazing in it.
Arriving late in the evening or just for convenience then a welcome pack can
be available. This will generally include a loaf of home made bread, butter,
eggs, tea, coffee, milk, jam and seasonal fruit at a cost of £15.
The cottages have a private water supply.
